Raising Money for Israel Guide Dogs Center (2010 - 2011)

At the beginning of the 2010 school year, Max Edelman came with Tovi to talk with us about living with a guide dog. We’ve seen Mr. Edelman and his guide dog for many years. But when we learned about the rigorous and costly training, we knew we had to help. Our religious school decided to raise money for the Israel Guide Dog Center

After winter break they had raised almost $500. The kids set a goal to raise $1000 by the end of the year.

They exceeded their goal, raising  $1211.14. The "check was presented" to Max Edleman's guide dog Tova.
