Dr. Deborah Lipstadt, Dorot Professor of Modern Jewish History and
Holocaust Studies at Emory University, first gained fame for her book, The Eichmann Trial. Her reputation was further
enhanced in a libel trial in England
against David Irving. a Holocaust denier, which she described in her book History on Trial: My Day in Court with a
Justice Charles Gray declared: "puts an end to the pretense
that [Irving] is anything but a self-promoting apologist for Hitler."
Dr. Lipstadt has been honored by
many organizations and has received honorary degrees from half-a-dozen
Proceeds from the event helped further TINT's
well-known Tzedakah and religious education programs.
